Who I am

As mentioned earlier, this Blog will discuss practical Biblical ways to help people achieve three main goals.

Before we go any further, allow me to introduce myself first.

My first name is Zoë Hoza Bugingo Masasu. I am the founder of this Christian Blog: “He has already begun! My biological parents named me Nadege Tuyishime, but the LORD gave me new names to help me fulfill my destiny.

Note: I received my new name Zoë Hoza Bugingo Masasu during my deliverance process.

I was born and raised in Bujumbura, the Capital of Burundi, a small country in East Africa. Burundi shares borders with D.R. Congo on the West and South, Rwanda up North, and Tanzania on the East and South.

Fun fact about me: I speak five languages: Kirundi, Kinyarwanda, Swahili, French, and English. I have the privilege of using most of them almost daily.

My favorite hobbies are hiking in the mountains early in the morning, jogging in the evening, and swimming at night. I started painting a few years ago and enjoy exploring my artistic gift. I also enjoy reading, and my favorite book is the Bible.

My story

I think some of you might be wondering:

  • Why did you start this Christian Blog?
  • How did you come up with this domain name?
  • What is the purpose of this Blog?
  • When did you decide to create this Blog?

Starting this Christian Blog was a long journey. But the Holy Spirit guided me on each step that led me here. Without further ado, allow me to answer the questions asked above.

Here is how the journey started.

a. The reason why I started this Blog

The main reason why I started this Blog is because the LORD God asked me to do so. As a child, I went through multiple traumatic events that affected my upbringing and teenage years. In a few words, I know how challenging it can be to live teenage years without Christ.

Walking in someone else’s shoes might help people better understand the challenges others face. I don’t think God would ask someone to help others cross a dangerous road that they have never walked themselves. It’s easier to relate to someone who walked through the same route you did.

In brief, I started this Blog to help others find the treasures I found in Jesus Christ. After searching for so many years, I finally found Salvation. I learned how to live a consecrated life at all costs, and have discovered my purpose in life as a Christian.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good!
    His faithful love endures forever.

Has the LORD redeemed you? Then speak out!
Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies. – Psalm 107:1-2 NLT

b. How I came up with the domain name

I got this domain name, “He Has Already Begun!” from Isaiah 43:19, the verse the LORD gave me back in 2020 when He asked me to create this Blog.

The verse reads:

19 For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. -Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭19‬ ‭NLT

You may wonder, “What does it mean?” It simply means that the LORD God has already begun working on you. No matter what phase of life you are in, Christian or not, there is no place where God can’t reach you.

Here is another passage that the LORD wanted me to share with you:

Say to those with fearful hearts,
“Be strong, and do not fear,
for your God is coming to destroy your enemies.
He is coming to save you.”
And when he comes, he will open the eyes of the blind
and unplug the ears of the deaf. -Isaiah 35:4-5 NLT

c. The purpose of this Blog

The purpose is to share Biblical resources that will equip anyone who comes across this website become a true disciple of Christ.

We will also share different Christian resources, such as Free discipleship classes, Christian programs, or books. These helpful resources will focus on helping teenagers and young adults become true disciples of Jesus Christ.

d. When I decided to create this Blog

So, my calling as a disciple of Christ is to help people navigate some of the challenges I faced in the past. In the past, I had the privilege to help people within my circle of influence. Today, I am honored to be able to reach as many people as possible, by God’s grace.

People from different cultural backgrounds were part of that program. However, we all had one thing in common: each one of us has experienced one or two forms of abuse in our childhood.

At the end of that six-month program, they asked us this eye-opening question found in the Books we were using as guidance:

“If you wouldn’t fail and money was not the issue, what would you do to make a difference in someone’s life?”

As soon as I heard that question, I immediately understood that my life would not remain the same. So here is what I answered:

“If I wouldn’t fail and money was not the issue, I would like to tell people who went through what I went through that there is a way out! Yes! There is a way out of all the misery they are still struggling with due to what happened to them.”

As mentioned above, as soon as I said those words, I knew my life wouldn’t be the same anymore. I immediately understood that God would use me to help victims of rape. And that’s when I had my “Aha!’ moment!

e. The moment I said “Yes” to God

When the LORD God placed the burden of creating a Christian Blog in my heart in 2019, I initially rejected the offer. Unfortunately, fear took hold of me, and I couldn’t find the courage to say, “Yes, LORD, use me fully for Your Kingdom’s purpose.”

Before I said yes, I would give God many reasons that could disqualify me from this calling. And often, I would ask Him, “Can you please pick someone else instead?”

Around that time, as I was still debating with God, He gave me these three verses as a warning and encouragement altogether:

32 “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.
33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven."
-Matthew 10:32-33 NLT.
13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
-John 15:13 NLT

The LORD God said to me:

“My Daughter, if you ever deny Me here on Earth, I will deny you in heaven. Besides, what’s the point of hiding the treasure you found in Jesus Christ, knowing that thousands of people are searching for it in the wrong places?”

My prayer for you today

In 2021, I said to Him: “Yes, LORD! Send me! I will go wherever you want me to go! Say whatever you want me to say! And tell the world that there is a way out, and His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Because I’d rather lose everything here on Earth than lose You in Heaven!”

I pray that the LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, meets you each time you visit this Blog. May His Holy Spirit draw you near Him every second you search for the Salvation, Purity, and Purpose that can only be found in Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray: May the LORD, the God of Israel, be the main reason why you would read these posts and put into practice what you learned. Amen!
